Such a beautiful day to visit Courthouse Creek Cidery in Goochland County on Maidens Road. The grand opening today had lots of folks making the drive. The farm cidery is both kid and pet friendly. Lots of seating available, both in and outdoors.
Courthouse Creek offers several delicious ciders ranging from summery fruity notes to full and hoppy. If you are new to craft ciders the cidery has designed a tasting paired with small bites to introduce you to these housemade ciders. Seek out owners Liza and Eric, most likely in the tasting room serving guests. Their combined knowledge and passion will surely point you to the right cider.
Courthouse Creek offers a cider club, in four and six bottle allotments. There are several perks to joining the club, including a discount on purchases and complimentary tastings.
We lucked out and were able to enjoy this tasting on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. This beautiful farm cidery is definitely worth the drive from Richmond.
